Treatments
Veterinary care on the dog's terms
At Hundeklinikken, we offer everything you expect from a modern veterinary clinic—from health checks and vaccinations to dental care, diagnostics, and surgery.
What makes us special is the way we do it.
We take each individual dog into account, monitoring their signals and adapting the treatment as we go.
How can we help?

Consultation
When your dog is sick, has symptoms, needs a check-up, or there is something you would like to have examined.

Health Checks
Regular health checks help us detect small changes and monitor your dog's health throughout their life.

Dental treatment
Examination and treatment of teeth and the oral cavity with dental X-rays, focusing on both treatment and prevention.

Surgery and Anesthesia
Surgical procedures with individualized anesthesia planning, pain management, and a safe process before and after surgery.

Behavior
Changes in behavior can be linked to physical and emotional well-being. We help find the underlying cause.

Fear of the Vet and Handling
For dogs that become anxious during vet visits, examinations, nail trims, or other types of handling.
General veterinary practice with a slightly different approach
With us, your dog can receive care throughout their entire life—from preventive health exams and vaccinations to diagnostics, dental care, and surgery.
We offer, among other things:
- health examinations and vaccinations
- diagnostics and medical workups
- blood, urine, and laboratory tests
- X-rays
- dental treatment
- soft tissue surgery
- spaying and neutering
- treatment and follow-up for chronic illness
Professional veterinary work is the foundation. What makes Hundeklinikken special is the way we perform it.

We love this clinic from the day we took our golden retriever there. Plus Victoire speaks French so it makes it super easier for us sometimes to communicate. Everyone is so sweet with our dog and we feel very safe leaving him every time. Very recommended!

We are SO happy with our lovely Veterinarians here! Our dog absolutely adores everyone and they have always taken the upmost care and given us all the support we’ve needed to ensure our girl feels loved, comfortable, safe and happy. She quite literally starts pulling on her leash to get to the clinic faster when she recognises the area. We are so grateful for the support from Hundeklinikken and are thankful for their wonderful care and kindness. Thank you to this incredible team - you’re always so diligent and helpful with advice, flexibility, patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing you next time. 🫶🏽
A positive experience is also prevention
A dog doesn’t have to have a fear of the vet before it makes sense to consider their experience.
The experiences a dog gains throughout life shape their expectations for future visits. That is why we also monitor the stress levels and body language of dogs that seemingly handle the visit just fine.
We want to preserve the trust the dog already has.
Therefore, we give the dog time, adapt our handling, and avoid forcing a procedure through as much as possible if the dog becomes anxious.
“If plan A doesn’t work, we find another way.”
Treats are great. But they can't stand alone.
We use a lot of treats. Food can be a fantastic tool for creating positive associations and rewarding the dog’s voluntary cooperation.
But a dog can still eat while feeling anxious.
Treats, therefore, do not replace respect for the dog’s signals and boundaries.
We look at the whole dog—not just whether they accept a treat.
Your dog doesn't have to be afraid of the vet
We would just as much like to get to know your dog before that happens.
Whether your dog comes in for a regular health check, a treatment, or needs a little extra help, we start with the dog standing in front of us.
