Your puppy’s first year isn’t just about vaccinations and physical health. It’s also when they begin to learn what it means to visit the vet.

Positive experiences early in life can help create a sense of security during future exams and handling. That’s why our puppy plans combine preventive healthcare with special confidence visits, where we practice some of the things your puppy will encounter at the clinic.

We would much rather prevent a fear of the vet than treat it later.

Two plans. One goal.

Both of our puppy plans follow your puppy through their first year and include scheduled vaccinations and health checks, as well as an adolescent checkup focusing on both health and behavior.
The main difference is how much time we spend on preventive training and clinic socialization.

For those who want preventive healthcare while giving their puppy positive experiences at the vet from the very beginning.

The 2 confidence visits allow us to introduce the puppy to the clinic and begin training for the situations and handling they will encounter throughout their life.

Premium

When you want to prevent from the start

For those who want to go the extra mile to give their puppy positive experiences with vet visits and handling from the start.

Premium includes everything from Essential, but with 4 confidence visits instead of 2, giving us more time to gradually work on clinic socialization, exams, and handling, tailoring the training to your specific puppy.

You also get priority booking and our Premium starter kit with carefully selected gear, where every single item is chosen with a purpose.

The Premium Starter Kit

Selected by us with a purpose

Everything in the Premium starter kit is carefully selected. These aren’t just things a puppy might need; every product is chosen because we believe it contributes to a good and safe start.

What is a confidence visit?

Your puppy doesn’t come here to be vaccinated or treated.

The visit is the training.

For example, we can practice using the scale, touching paws, ears, and mouth, introductory exams, and voluntary cooperation during handling. It is always adapted to the individual puppy.

Whenever possible, confidence visits are scheduled before regular health visits, so the puppy has a chance to practice first and then use what they’ve learned in a real consultation.

The goal is not to teach your puppy to tolerate handling.
The goal is to teach them that handling can happen in cooperation with them.

And then comes the teenage phase...

Both plans include an adolescent checkup.

Here, we monitor the dog’s general health and discuss their development and behavior, right at the time when the little puppy starts getting longer legs, hormones, and significantly more opinions on how the world should work.

This allows us to detect emerging challenges early and help you move forward if needed.

Vores cocker spaniel er desværre blevet meget dyrlæge angst hos tidlligere dyrlæge, så vi valgte at skifte over til Hundeklinikken for at give ham mere hjælp. Vi har været til indledende konsultation for nogle uger siden og allerede der var vi vildt begejstrede og bookede et forløb med Katrine. Vores hund fik så akut brug for undersøgelse inden vi er kommet igang med vores intro forløb, og det frygtede vi virkelig nu hvor han er så bange. Men hold da op en anden oplevelse end vi har været vant til, fuldstændig ro og god tid til Conrad så han faktisk slet ikke kom op i et stresset gear. Det troede vi slet ikke var muligt. Varmeste anbefalinger hvis man har en hund med dyrlæge skræk og vi glæder os til at starte i forløb hos jer 🐶🥰

Our dog absolutely adores everyone and they have always taken the upmost care and given us all the support we’ve needed to ensure our girl feels loved, comfortable, safe and happy. She quite literally starts pulling on her leash to get to the clinic faster when she recognises the area. Give your puppy a great start at the vet

Your puppy doesn’t have to be cautious or have problems to benefit from a puppy plan. Quite the opposite.

The best time to create a trusting relationship with the vet is before the dog has learned there is anything to be afraid of.

Call us at 35 43 43 20, or ask us at the clinic if you want to enroll your puppy. Vaccinations include DHPPiL4 and oral Bordetella, as well as associated health checks. Rabies vaccination and EU pet passports are not included.
